"Mechanically, an incredible improvement on the first game. I think there are still some flaws in the boss combat, but nothing as infuriating as its predecessor. The story is not quiet as strong the other game, as people note, partly due to the open world nature. But still a solid outing and a fun play."
"I was very excited with the idea and premise behind Assassin's Creed III. The American Revolution, playing in more "untamed" environments, parkour in the forest, etc. It turned out to be an OK experience. Maybe I was spoiled by the rich story of the games before it, but ACIII didn't capture me the same way as the games before it. It was still an enjoyable time and the gameplay offered more of the AC exploration, free climbing, checklist of side quests, areas to capture, etc."
"A fun game in its early infancy, it took a nosedive as it tried to expand too fast for its own good. A system that was simple and easy to get into turned into a disaster of decisions from the balance team. The game changed to where there are seasons implemented and only half of the cards are available in any given season at random. Meaning if you don't plan to spend any money, you can spend your entire season trying to build a deck that you won't be able to use in the next season. I was able to become top 20 in NA in this game and attended a few Runeterra tournaments, I had never spent any money on the game and that was such a bonus and a testament to why this game was different to other tabletop card games out there. But alas it changed to try and get to that "next big thing" and became a pay to play game."
